The services offered include:

  • Self-paced digital educational resources for learning French as a foreign language
  • Online private lessons (live, scheduled one-to-one sessions with a teacher)

The educational content is created and delivered by qualified and experienced French teachers, native in French and bilingual in English.

2. Prices & Taxes

All prices are in euros (EUR) and are VAT-exempt in accordance with Article 293 B of the French Tax Code, including for international customers.
Payments are made in one installment via secure online payment systems.

3. Nature of the Service

By purchasing, you gain access to:

  • Digital content, accessible immediately after payment
  • Online private lessons, scheduled in advance according to the teacher's available time slots

All services are delivered online only. No physical product is shipped.

4. No Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply in the following cases:

  • Digital content: By purchasing digital content (such as quizzes, exercises, videos, or downloadable materials), you expressly waive your right of withdrawal, as the content is made available to you immediately after payment.
  • Online private lessons: By booking a private lesson at a fixed date and time of your choice, you also waive your right of withdrawal, even if the session is scheduled more than 14 days after the date of purchase. This waiver is required for the lesson to be confirmed.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Digital content: All sales of digital content are final and non-refundable, including in cases of non-use or partial use.
  • Private lessons are non-refundable. However, they may be rescheduled up to 72 hours before the scheduled time. To do so, you must contact us at contact@frenchtests.com. After this deadline, the lesson is considered due and cannot be rescheduled. No refunds will be issued in the event of a no-show, late cancellation, or partial attendance. If the teacher is unavailable due to a case of force majeure (e.g. illness, emergency, technical failure), the lesson will be rescheduled at no additional cost, but will not be eligible for a refund.

6. Disclaimer of Guarantees

We strive to provide high-quality language instruction, but:

  • No Guarantee of Results: We do not guarantee fluency or any specific learning outcome.
  • Effort-Dependent: Your progress depends on your individual effort and engagement.
  • No Liability for Technical Issues: We are not responsible for any issues preventing access to the service, including but not limited to: internet outages, device compatibility, or software limitations.

7. Data Protection

We collect and process personal data (such as your email address and payment information) only for the purpose of delivering the service.

We process your data based on:

  • the performance of a contract (to provide access to paid services)
  • and your consent (for optional features like analytics or marketing)

We keep your data only for the duration of your access to the service and up to 2 years after your last activity, unless otherwise required by law.

Some of our service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processing) may process your data outside the European Union. We only use third parties that commit to providing adequate safeguards under the GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
